Contentnea Creek Shooting?
« on: October 08, 2010, 03:27:01 PM »
http://www.contentneacreekhunting.com/default.htm
My Father's Birthday is comming up at the end of the month.
He has a 4 year old Yellow lab and I was thinking of giving him a hunt in Eastern NC (he lives around New Bern)
He will go if someone gives him a hunt, he wants to get the dog out and have him retrieve as well as work the field
Wanted to know if any of you have hunted this place and how you liked it.
The Places we have gone in the past have closed.
Thanks,
McDuck.

They should be fine...I dont like shooting preserves but fun every now and then and I will admit they are reallly good for dogs ..........I have only ever hunted 2 preserves a few times .....Tobacco stik in candor....top notch,  and Contentnea......I hunted contentnea once when i was a banker back in the early 90's with some of my co workers....everything was fine and the duck shooting was was funny if not spectacular because of all the ducks .............they should still be fine as they have been in business a long time....Mack
