Sedalia, most of my hunting is cattle grounds surrounded by farm just south of town.  I am most enthusiastic for hunting deer, and the year-round activities that go with it (scouting, landscaping, trying to keep up with what is where in anticipation of the next season).  Also, eating barbecued venison is good!  Oh, and testing handloads- I like 3-D more than paper.  Squirrels I give away usually but I am enthusiastic about bringing down those highly mobile, tiny little things.  Good practice for the deer.  I also go for any small game in season I happen to spot on the prowl for squirrels.

'Bout 8 miles outta Rolla.  I used to hunt everything I could afford to get to, black bear, elk, antelope, whitetail, mulies, mountain lion, whatever small game was in season at the moment and predators when nothing else was open.  I've killed about all that stuff I care to.  Now days I make a feeble effort for deer, squirrels have become my favorite and if I were ambitious enough I would have a pack of beagles again for bunnies.  I have come to derive more joy working with old, obscure and unusual cartridges, mostly pre-1900 Continental chambered in German rifles, my real muzzleloaders and Shiloh Sharps.  Fly fishing with vintage bamboo rods is another favorite pass time.

Another GBO'er from Sedalia, Mo. I hunt deer and some rabbit. Getting set up to hunt coyotes, help out the local, coyotes are really tearing up the livestock and deer in the area. Take caare, John.
It's not what you do, but how you do what you do, that counts.
Just keep on keeping on!
