Just wanted to let everyone knwo that I saw a new belt ammo carrier for bulk rimfire ammo in my new Natchez catalog. I hope to get one soon to try it out.

Tripple K also makes a neat pouch.
They call it #107 it holds two 50 round paper boxes of 22LR
100 loose rounds of 22LR or 22Mag
about 20 loose 223 Rounds - one of the reasons I got it was for a single shot 223.
Also holds two Cz 527 5round 223 mags.
It looks like an 1800's compass pouch.

I purchased one from RWS years ago that was made of leather and has a spring steel band in each side, so you can reach in and grab ammo and then it self closes. I cannot seem to find one still available anywhere. 8(

I did see this which is sized for rimfire rifles and I hadn't seen one for the smaller rounds before.

Use a chaw can size plastic .22 'can' and a belt pouch. Put a port in it to 'dump' a cart. into your hand with a shake or two and put it port up into the carrier when on hunt. Inbetween use run a strip of electricians tape over the port.

ya know, i been look'n fer one a them 22 belts in nylon.... wally had them a coupla years
ago. but i ain't seen them since. i've traveled thru all web sites and ain't seen any.
ana yall know of them available ? i thought that uca-mikes wud have them, but i ain't found any

I've also found that the repro civil war primer carriers work well......if you don't bend over with the flap open...

The pipe tobacco pouches with zipper opening work great for loose .22 ammo but don't fit on your belt. I just carry mine in my pocket and leave it there. You can reach inside and open it enough to retrieve a round and close it with one hand. Keeps ammo clean and secure and holds a whole box (50 rounds).

I see this is an old post but thought I would try posting on it and see if it would work. I solved the problem of a carrier for 22, 22 mag and 17HMR with a little work. I purchased an Allen shotgun butt carrier at Sportsman's and sewed each of the shotgun shell holders to carry three shells each for a total of 15 across the top and 15 across the bottom. I haven't figured out how to post photos on here so if anyone is interested in seeing the finished product you can email me.

Pocket on a t-shirt works for me-I'm fat enuff the pocket doesn't dump the shells and I try not to hafta bend over much anyway-100 rounds of 17HMR fits w/room to spare.

Just bought one and tested it today....SWEET!!! Much better than taking a handful of shells and putting 'em in your pocket. Cost only around $5 and is of great design.
