45 long colt bc harvest

Finally got a deer with my 45 lc bc . Shoot a hornady
240  gr JHP loaded to about 1380 fps. Recovered the bullet expanded perfectly. To every ones surprise there is a tiny Phillips head screw & washer holding the lead to the copper jacket .

LOL  ;D  I want to see it all.  Glad to see someone chime in on harvesting a deer with my favorite pistol cartridge.  DP  PS I think the screw is in the washer.

Would also like to see it all, certainly wasn't on the amsterdam travel sight :D

Also what powder and charge weight were you using, and did the projectile punch through bone and muscle or just soft tissue?

Ah, yes. ::)  Amsterdam in the 70's.  What little I remember from my 4 years in Europe with the Army, I do remember alot about the trips to Amsterdam ;D.  Thanks for the reminder, Hammerspur!  DP
