Finally found accurate load for 38-55 Target

Guys, I finally found a very accurate load for my 38-55 Target.  I have been trying for at least 2 years.  Best part was the range was crowded. 

Anyway the recipe is:
Cartridge - 38-55 Winchester
Brass - Winchester
Primer - Winchester WLR
Case Trimmed to 2.075
C.O.L. 2.519
Bullet - Beartooth 265gr FN GC .380 diameter
Powder - 25.9 VihtaVuori N120
Chrony - 1768 fps

i think i will have to give that load a try. ive been looking for a good hunting load the .38-55. until now i have only been working with target loads.

Forgot to give group info... 5 shot groups at 100 yards averaged 1.4" c-to-c (4 targets 4 groups) from a bench of course.  1-2 minutes between shots.  There was NOT one flyer of the 20 shots, this was VERY good for me.

Being crowded, meant having shooters on both sides of me with scoped rifles not matching my groups, and being asked "What kind of rifle is that?"  Really a fun time.

That's really great Mike, thanks for the followup. ;) I been thinkin real strong on making a 38-55 Target my next new complete rifle, it's one of the few I don't have....yet!!! ;D
