some time back we had a pretty thorough-going harangue on this site, re: the virtues or lack thereof when using the .270 Winchester. it was a spirited debate with a couple of very negative inputs from some of our co-conspirators. BUT, mt3030 made only one reply on page 2 that i just re-read, bringing back a good memory of him.

mt3030 answered something from 'swampman' and it gave us a brief glimpse into the heart of 'mt'. quite simply, he was a gentleman. it's hard to imagine a more fitting tribute to a man than to say such about him. i wish he was still with us. this world needs all the genlemen it can find.
