NEF New Combos I have a question?????????

Hi my name is Dale and I am a handiholic.I am new to the forum and there is alot of great info here NEF has come out with some new combos this year. My question is this I am thinking about getting the new combo that includes a 223, 17 HMR and 22LR how is this combo even possible because the 223 is a center fire and the other two are rimfires? The other thing is if they have done something to some how switch the fireing pin to make this posible will this frame be able to be fitted with more barrels from there barrel program? Would this be a SB3 frame if there is such a frame. So many questions. Well I am hopping for some input on this. Thanks Dale

the rimfire barrels are supposed to be bored off center (a little low i think) so the pin strikes the rim.  I dont know about the accessory barrells though

I found it on the net but it is not in stock yet.I had them put me on the email list when they get them in.I think the price was $303.00 which I think is great for 3 differnt guns.

The 3 barrel combos will be a limited one time run, only 200-300 or each or 750-1000 total of all combinations will be made according to H&R, if they're like the Versa Pack .22Lr/.410 combo, no accessory barrels will be fitted to them, that remains to be seen, no one has reported on any of the 3-barrel combos yet.

That is the same site that I saw the combo on I just thought it was $303.00 it is really $306.00 did you notice that the picture is not correct.In the picture one of the barrels is a shotgun barrel.

That's probably cuz when they took those pics, that's all they had, they were on the web site last year, before they even had any produced, this year, they aren't on the web site or in the 2007 catalog and they've already been discontinued, but will make a limited run.....unless Marlin changes their mind again!!
